Val Rive

Situated on the edge of the river Rance, Val Rive was built in 1814 close to the 13th century Norman Castle in Lehon, an unspoilt Breton village with narrow cobbled streets leading through beautiful old stone cottages and attractive flower beds. The bistro/bar La Marmite is a few yards from Val Rive and has become a firm favourite with guests, with its traditional French cooking and friendly welcome. A good bakers is also close by, ideal for picking up croissants for breakfast. The fascinating medieval town of Dinan is easily reached either by car (5 minutes) or on foot (15 minutes).

Val Rive
Riverside path leading into the countryside

Stepping out from the apartments, you can follow the riverside path for miles into the peaceful unspoilt countryside, home to otters, ducks and other wildlife.

This is perfect country for cycling, walking or simply unwinding with a picnic or a book by the river.

Val Rive has been carefully converted to 2 one-bedroomed and 2 two-bedroomed apartments, sleeping 2 and 4 respectively with double sofa beds for extra guests if needed. The large windows give Val Rive a light, airy feel and provide lovely views over the river. Each apartment is spacious, comfortably furnished and has Sky 'free to view' satellite reception with wide screen TV. The kitchens have a hob, microwave, dishwasher , coffee maker and kettle.
