Location
Dinard is one of Brittany's oldest seaside towns, retaining an air of Victorian elegance. With a good selection of restaurants, bistros, shops and the weekly market, the town is a popular choice with Parisian visitors.
A coastal path connects the three beaches around wooded headlands topped with turreted Victorian villas. The main beach, Plage de L'Ecluse, is sandy and ideal for swimming with blue-striped sentry-box tents erected in the high season. The apartment is about 800m from the beach .
Behind the beach is a network of streets where there are antique shops, art galleries, and inviting patisseries and salons de thé.

The town is a good location to explore the nearby North Brittany coast with its rocky headlands and beautiful sandy beaches. The impressive citadel town of St Malo is a 20 minute drive away, or you can take the ferry across the mouth of the Rance which takes about 10 minutes.
Medieval Dinan with its collection of preserved half-timbered houses and historic port area is a 25 minute drive away. A little further is the unmissable Mont St Michel with its Abbey and church perched high on a spur of rock.
With Ryanair offering very low cost flights into the airport only 6 km away, and the port of Saint Malo only a short drive of 11km, transport links to the UK are very good.
