Description
Renovated with taste and comfortably furnished, La Petite Métairie is a character granite Breton house sleeping up to six. Care has been taken to retain the house's character with oak beams, polished wooden floorboards, original wooden staircase and granite fireplace.
Set in a small hamlet next to the attractive village of Plumaudan which has a shop, bar and restaurant. The medieval town of Dinan is about a 15 minute drive away. The coast, with its superb sandy beaches and rocky headlands, can be reached in about 45 minutes.

Entering the house, on the ground floor there is a large open plan kitchen/dining/living area.The kitchen is well equipped with newly installed fitted units and dishwasher. Next to the kitchen area is a dining table with 6 chairs and an attractive log burner and fireplace. A comfortable living area is next to the dining area, with coffee table, settee and armchairs.
Original wooden stairs to the first floor, which has two bedrooms each with two single beds, and a bathroom with bath, WC and basin. Stairs to second floor, which has a double bedroom with ensuite shower room with shower, WC and basin. Electric radiators throughout the house.
There is a gravelled patio area to the rear of the house, next to an open grassed area.

Location
La Petite Métairie is situated in a small hamlet about 2km from the small village of Plumaudan, which has a bar/café and small shop. A wide selection of shops and restaurants can be found in the preserved medieval town of Dinan which can be reached by car in about 15 minutes.
The surrounding countryside is typically Breton - green fields, woods and traditional villages, ideal for exploring by bike. The sandy beaches of the beautiful north coast can easily be reached in about 50 minutes, ideal for a day's excursion. Further afield is the corsair town of St Malo, the world famous abbey of Mont St Michel and the beautiful castles of Vitré and Fougères.
