La Maison Medievale, Dinan
This delightful 15th century half timbered house stands a little way up from the port of Dinan in the Rue Du Petit Fort, a most picturesque cobbled street leading up to the ancient heart of Dinan.
Originally used for trading wares brought up the river Rance, the house has been lovingly updated whilst retaining the character of a medieval merchant's house. Granite and oak floors, exposed stone and colourwashed walls and ancient beamed ceilings give the house a unique atmosphere.
Looking out onto a scene barely changed in five centuries, this beautiful house is part of Dinan's renowned medieval heritage.
