Location
The house is located on the cobbled Rue Du Petit Fort, which grew up in the medieval era to link the port area with the town overlooking the river. The street is lined with well preserved examples of timber framed houses dating from this period, many of which are now used by artists and artisans to display their work. A few yards away is the attractive port area, with a good baker, a selection of popular restaurants, bistros and cafes. You can hire boats and canoes here, or follow the riverside paths into the peaceful countryside.
Following the hill up from the house, passing under the 13th Century Jerzual gate, you arrive at Dinan's historic centre, again with a wealth of beautifully preserved buildings, as well as the Castle and impressive Ramparts. Every two years, Dinan plays host to a weekend long Medieval Festival celebrating the life and culture at the time the town was built – an unforgettable experience.

'Jeremy, just to say how much we enjoyed our stay in your lovely house. Haven't had such a relaxing holiday in a while. We really loved the house and were impressed how well equipped it was. This is not always the case with holiday homes. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Thanks for a lovely stay ' C. and family May 2008
