House Hunting

We offer a very flexible range of house hunting services, all designed to help you find the right house in Brittany. We carry out a free initial review of your requirements based on your completed questionnaire. Working with local Estate Agents on your behalf, we will carry out a search for your home in Brittany. There are no charges for this service, if we find you a property you will pay exactly the same Estate Agent fees.

House Hunting and Accommodation

For a more detailed search for your house in France we recommend our combined house hunting and accommodation package, where you visit Brittany in order to get to know the area, together with three days of pre-arranged house viewings. Before your visit, we discuss with you, in detail, your property requirements, carry out a house search for you and pre-select a shortlist of suitable properties. We will be on hand during the week to answer your questions on buying and owning a property in Brittany and the practical side of living in France. We arrange appointments for you to view the houses selected and are available for an honest ‘second opinion’ if you find a house you like.

Included in the package is a week’s stay at our delightful stone farmhouse set in the peaceful Breton countryside. The house is a comfortable and convenient base where you can browse through the details of the latest houses for sale in the area, refer to books and magazines and other information on buying a house in France.

Prices start from £400, this includes a week’s accommodation and initial house hunt. Any subsequent visits you wish to make within 12 months, you pay only for accommodation - our advice and time spent selecting houses and organising viewings are free of charge.

Property Search Package

If you have very definite ideas about the sort of property you are looking for, but find it difficult to search yourself, we can do the searching for you. Our Property Search package allows you to search for suitable properties without leaving home. After a detailed review and discussion of your requirements, we undertake a search of local properties for you, identify a short list of suitable properties and send you their details. We can then arrange viewings for those properties you are interested in. Prices start from £200.

Property Report

From experience , we know that sometimes you can see what looks like the perfect house on the Internet or in a magazine but you cannot spare the time to drop everything and visit France to view it. With our Property Report package we can visit the house for you, make a detailed inspection, take photographs and then send you a detailed written report by email. Prices start from £100.
