Location

The apartment is located on the river and is very close to the well preserved, peaceful village of Lehon which has a good bakers, restaurant and bar/café. The village also has a large heated swimming pool and tennis courts.

Close by is the river Rance with paths leading out to unspoilt countryside. If you cross the ancient bridge and stroll along the river past the lock keepers cottage you arrive at the bustling port of Dinan. Here you can hire bikes, canoes or boats or enjoy a drink at a riverside café. The port area has a good selection of restaurants and bistros , so you can leave the car at home, enjoy a good meal and walk back. The medieval centre of Dinan can be reached by foot in 20 minutes or by car in less than 5.

The Côte D'Armor is an area of outstanding natural beauty, the North of the department is a long attractive coastline with beautiful sandy beaches, dramatic headlands and peaceful coves. There is a string of seaside towns and villages, each with their own charms. The Corsair town of St Malo and medieval Dinan are rightly popular , another 'must see' is Mont St Michel, rising out of the sea.

Inland is equally attractive, with peaceful countryside where you can find traditional Breton villages, chapels and market towns.

The region is easily accessible from the UK with ferry ports at St Malo , Roscoff or Cherbourg and with Ryanair providing very low cost flights to Dinard.
