LocationThe apartment is located on the quayside in the port of Dinan, home to yachts, pleasure cruisers and small boats/canoes for hire. The port also has some of Dinan's best restaurants and bistros, open all year. The medieval centre of Dinan is a 10 minute walk away up the cobbled hill passing under the 13th century Jerzual gate, or you can take the car and park in one of the central car parks. At the end of the quayside you can follow the riverside path leading out to unspoilt countryside in both directions, ideal for cycling or walking. Bike hire is available in the summer season from the port for about 15 euros a day for an adult. . |

The well preserved historic centre of Dinan is close by, here you can explore a remarkable collection of medieval buildings , picturesque narrow streets as well as an impressive castle and tall stone ramparts. Dinan is proud of its heritage and actively promotes many activities throughout the year - most weekends you'll find something going on. As a result, the town does not shut down at the end of the season but keeps going throughout the year. The North Brittany coast with its series of superb sandy beaches is about a 35 minute drive away, as are the seaside towns of St Malo and Dinard which are both well worth a visit. Mont St Michel is a 'must see' and is about 45 minutes away by car. |
